Frequently asked questions

How long does the custom process take?

We are custom making a piece just for you (as opposed to using a mass setting as other jewelers do), so the process timeline is dependent on the design. It will take approximately 4 weeks once the stone is selected and the final rendering is approved.

What is the return policy?

Custom jewelry is not eligible for returns or exchanges.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping for bespoke fine jewelry is calculated based on your location and the insurance required for the item you purchased.

What payment methods do you accept?

We gladly accept payment by check, bank transfer, and Venmo. Credit cards are also welcome; however, for purchases over $1,000, a 3% service fee will apply.

Do you only custom make engagement rings?

We custom make all types of custom jewelry, including fashion jewelry. Let's get started on your dream piece

Do you hand-make engagement rings?

I personally design each engagement ring, but to ensure the highest level of precision and cost efficiency, I partner with a team of CAD specialists who bring the designs to life using advanced technology. From there, master stone setters complete the piece, allowing me to offer fully custom heirloom-quality rings that meet both high craftsmanship standards and budget considerations.

Bespoke vs. Handmade Jewelry

Bespoke jewelry is custom-designed to the client's specifications, and can be created using a mix of techniques and methods, resulting in a unique piece. Handmade jewelry is crafted entirely by hand, placing a big emphasis on traditional metalsmith techniques and craftsmanship. While bespoke jewelry can be handmade, it doesn't always have to be.

Custom handmade jewelry and bespoke fine jewelry each offer unique advantages, and the best route depends on your design, materials, and overall vision. I’ll help guide you toward the right method to bring your vision to life.

Custom Handmade Jewelry

Handmade jewelry is crafted entirely by hand, using traditional metalsmithing techniques that honor time-tested craftsmanship. Every curve, connection, and detail is shaped by human hands, not machines, giving each piece a distinct character that can’t be replicated.

While custom jewelry is designed to fit a client’s preferences and may involve a range of manufacturing methods, handmade pieces highlight the skill of the artisan and the beauty of imperfection. It’s a slower, more intentional process—perfect for those who value individuality, texture, and a story behind their jewelry.
